Track Lore: Cthulhic Chant

Hidden away beneath the churning seas their congregation filed silently down marble stairs to the sacrificial deis. Contrary to many misguided theories, it was not the life force of the pure and innocent, but the blood of the old and wise that piqued the interest of the ancient evil below. The cries of the unfortunate offering were drowned out in the reverberating cave by the summoning chant of the wicked cultists. Speak its name and it shall appear - Cthulhu. Bloodlust, rage, a relentless will to power. They worshipped in that beast what they denied within themselves; chanting in the deep, frenzied praise of an indifferent demon.
